CloseBot can book appointments conversationally to your CRM calendar! You set this up by creating a new objective and selecting Calendar from the Auto Update dropdown area. This feature is available on all plans!

If you're experiencing issues when testing this within your CRM, check to make sure:

  • You're using the permanent Calendar ID and not the custom Calendar ID if You selected "other". The permanent ID will be a random series of letters and numbers... that's the one we want! This is only relevant if you're using the OTHER option to dynamically change the calendar you're booking to

  • Your CRM contact must have either a phone number or email. Appointments cannot be booked with a contact that doesn't have a phone number or email. If you have someone coming in without this information, try adding a phone or email objective ahead of the booking objective to conversationally gather this information and update the contact!

NOTICE: Some users get contact messages from all over the world and the bot needs to be able to conversationally gather Timezone information, update the contact item, then book an appointment. The system will always use the contact timezone if set, falling back to the account timezone if the contact doesn't have a set timezone. However, if you want the bot to conversationally gather and update the contact timezone prior to booking, just add a Timezone Objective right before your booking objective like this:

Enjoy the conversational booking feature! This can be used at any point in your objective flow. You can qualify a lead upfront, then book an appointment conversationally and continue doing post-booking qualification. It's a breeze!
