I have A LOT of contacts I'm messaging with these bots! At 3 cents per message this is going to add up fast. Hold on there...

When we actually go through the calculation, we find once again why CloseBot is such a great deal.

Cold Outreach Cost Analysis

Lets say we have 1000 contacts we are reaching out to. On average, 10% of these messages won't even be delivered to the recipient because of phone issues. This leaves us with 900 solid contacts who may respond. Of those 900, on average about 20% will actually respond. This gives us 180 leads that your bot will interact with. The average back and forth interaction for cold outreach is about 2.75 messages per person.

Now we're at 495 messages. If you're on a Super or Standard account, you can use your own OpenAI API key, meaning your cost will be an average of $0.015 per message. This means your cost to send 495 messages would be $7.43. If you have a Basic plan you'll pay $0.03 per message. In this case the cost to send 495 messages would be $14.85.

Sounds like a great deal to reach 1000 potential leads per month without lifting a finger once you get your bot dialed in! If you paid a full time employee to respond with 495 messages, it would take approximately two days. The response times would be slow and some may slip through the cracks. It would also cost you $8/hr. for those two days at least ($128)...

Warm Lead Cost Analysis

The only difference for warm outreach is 100% of your customers have responded and these back and forth conversations last a bit longer on average at 3.5 messages per conversation. For Standard and Super users the cost for warm lead communication across 1,000 customers would be about $52.50. Basic plan users would spend about $105. Once again, a great deal when compared to the cost of an employee

Summary

If you're worried about usage costs, hopefully this break down helped clear the air. AI is cheap and affective when used with your current systems.
